Biography
EDUCATION:
I am currently a junior at Black Hills State University, where I am studying Elementary Education.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU PLAYED WITH BHSO:
I filled in as a substitute flutist in past years, and the 2008-2009 season is my first year as an official BHSO member.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR INSTRUMENT:
Several of my relatives play the flute, so when I entered 5th grade, I decided to do the same. I have immensely enjoyed playing both the flute and piccolo over the years.

HOBBIES/LEISURE ACTIVITIES:
I enjoy baking, cooking, and reading in my spare time, and I love hiking in the beautiful Black Hills!

ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
I perform with the Rapid City Municipal Band during the summer, and am constantly looking musical opportunities in the community of which I can be a part of.
