The door to enter will be facing the civic center and will be the door toward the north side of the high school. If you have trouble finding the correct door, call Nancy at 605-381-8252.

Audition Requirements
Eligibility – High School (grades 9-12) through adult.
Students must be a member of a school orchestra or band. High school students must audition every year.
Adult Former BHSO Members: you will be asked to re-audition if it has been more than a single season since you played regularly with BHSO.
Applicants should be prepared to:
- Play a solo or etude of their choice
- Sight-read orchestral literature
An evaluation of the player's tone quality on all materials will be a part of the overall score. The Solo or Etude should be of a level that shows the technical skills that are required to perform standard orchestral literature.
